Purpose- To feature the everyday and routine lifestyle of the intellectual Adkins clan at their most formidable state, even on the most chaotic of days. We desire to provide America with an inside exclusive of one of the most prolific and thriving African-American families as it relates to spirituality, pop culture, education, and overall positive family functionality. The pilot will be effectively pitched to both advertisers as well as networks in the Los Angeles and Atlanta markets for various options on creative partnering/development in conjunction with the production conglomerate detailed above.
The Look- Documentary style with an edgy and unique proactive unlike conventional reality television. We will utilize DSLR’s in conjunction with super high speed cinema lenses in order to create a sharp, commercial, and solar quality to an image so clear, it will mirror the effectiveness and functionality of the family itself. Interview segments will include a various sections of the house aesthetically laid out in order to create an essence of warmth and pleasantness throughout the show.
The Vibe- Feature the Adkins family in a positive, drama-free atmosphere. The only drama the audience experiences from the clan involves real-life, everyday family and sibling rivalry which naturally occurs within every modern, functioning household. Very warm and inviting atmosphere symbolically mirrors the Adkins family’s’ true essence and values. Positivity and encouragement are constantly reiterated throughout the piece with faith and Christ remaining the centerpiece of the family’s overall functionality and motivation for higher living.
The Shoot- We follow the Adkins family on a typical Sunday morning prior to leaving for church. Feature everyday breakfast routines, wash-ups, dressing choices, wake-up, and loading up, which are all heavy aspects of a typical Sunday morning in the Adkins household, often times rushed and uncanny. Yet, the ends are always met and the family is on time and thriving when it comes time to squeeze onto the pew. Also, the interviews follow Mr. and Mrs. Adkins through the series of events and back stories leading up to the creation and formulation of this astounding conglomerate of a family, dating back to when the two initially met. Docu-style with sharp imagery and conventional interview set-ups. Optimal sound quality and trimmed to exact 21:30 syndicated network time-frame(s).
EXECUTION: Secure DSLR and sound equipment rentals as well as key creative personnel within the Atlanta area. Additional camera operator required for B cam while all post will be rendered back in Los Angeles, assembled from the hard drives and footage collected in Atlanta. The final project will be uploaded, shared and approved by Mr. Adkins Sr. who will then give the greenlight to begin pitching and circulating through the network and advertising arena. Particular point meetings and sessions will be priorly negotiated with the likes of Ms. Kita Willams, Mr. Kevin Asbell, Mr. Kelvin O. Truitt, Bruce Munn, Christian Heuer, along with any future prospective clients and/or investors.
